Come build the
future of money.
didii is rethinking how Nigerians interact with their money. We need sharp, hungry people who want to build something that matters.
Remote-friendly
Work from anywhere in Nigeria. We care about output, not office chairs.
Real impact
Millions of Nigerians will use what you build. This isn't a side project.
Move fast
Small team, big ambition. Ship weekly, learn daily, grow constantly.
Competitive pay
Market-rate salaries, equity, and benefits that actually make sense.
Open roles
Find your fit. Every role is a chance to shape how Nigeria handles money.
You'll own the experience millions of Nigerians interact with daily. From the conversational UI to real-time payment flows — every pixel, every animation, every interaction.
What you'll do
- Build and ship production-ready UI for didii's conversational money assistant
- Implement real-time payment flows, voice input, and photo-to-payment interfaces
- Collaborate closely with design and backend to deliver seamless end-to-end experiences
- Optimize for performance on low-bandwidth Nigerian networks and mid-range devices
What we're looking for
- 3+ years building production frontend applications (React, React Native, or similar)
- Strong command of TypeScript, state management, and modern CSS
- Experience with real-time data, WebSockets, or streaming interfaces
- You care deeply about UX and can translate design intent into polished interactions
You'll build the systems that move real money — safely, instantly, at scale. Banking integrations, AI orchestration, transaction processing, and everything in between.
What you'll do
- Design and build APIs that power didii's payment engine (transfers, bills, airtime, crypto off-ramp)
- Integrate with banking partners (Anchor) and third-party payment providers
- Build the AI orchestration layer that connects Claude to real financial actions
- Ensure 99.9% uptime, idempotent transactions, and bulletproof error handling
What we're looking for
- 3+ years building backend systems in Node.js, Python, or Go
- Experience with payment systems, fintech APIs, or banking integrations
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, queues, and database design
- Security-first mindset — you think about edge cases before they happen
You'll build the didii app on the phone in every Nigerian's pocket. Native feel, low-data mode, works on a Tecno from 2021 with one bar of MTN — money flows that never crash mid-transfer.
What you'll do
- Ship native modules for iOS and Android (React Native or Flutter)
- Build offline-resilient transfer queues that survive flaky networks
- Integrate biometric and PIN flows the way Nigerians actually use them
- Optimise APK size and cold-start for low-end devices
- Ship to Play Store and App Store on a weekly cadence
What we're looking for
- 3+ years shipping production mobile apps
- Deep React Native or Flutter chops — you've owned an app end-to-end
- You've debugged a payment that "looked failed but actually went through"
- Calm under "my money has disappeared" pressure
You'll keep didii up, fast, and unbreakable. Banking partners, fraud bots, regulator audits, midnight payday spikes — your infra absorbs all of it.
What you'll do
- Design and run our cloud infra (AWS/GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes)
- Own observability — metrics, alerts, on-call rotations
- Harden against OWASP Top 10 and CBN security guidelines
- Lead incident response when something breaks at 2am
- Build the security review process every new feature passes through
What we're looking for
- 4+ years SRE or DevOps in a regulated environment (fintech, banking, healthtech)
- Strong on IaC, secrets management, WAF, runtime hardening
- You treat a green dashboard with suspicion
- Bonus: you've held a pager at a Nigerian PSP or bank
You'll build the pipes that turn raw transaction data into the dashboards, fraud signals, and AI training sets we run the company on.
What you'll do
- Design ETL/ELT pipelines from production DBs to a warehouse
- Build streaming jobs that power real-time fraud flags
- Model schemas for finance, growth, and ops teams
- Partner with AI/ML on feature stores and training data
What we're looking for
- 3+ years building data pipelines at scale
- Strong SQL and Python — you can model and ship
- Experience with dbt, Airflow/Dagster, Kafka or similar
- You know why "exactly-once" is hard, and you've shipped one anyway
You'll make didii actually smart. Voice intent parsing, fraud detection, Naija-context understanding — the AI is half the product.
What you'll do
- Train and ship ML models for fraud, spend insights, and conversational intent
- Tune LLM prompts and guardrails for money actions
- Build evaluation harnesses so we don't ship hallucinations
- Partner with engineering to deploy models at low latency
What we're looking for
- 3+ years applied ML/AI — not just notebooks, real users
- Comfortable with PyTorch, HuggingFace, modern LLM tooling
- You've shipped a model to production and watched it behave under load
- You understand why a 1% fraud false-positive rate is catastrophic at scale
You'll break didii before users do. Every transfer flow, every edge case, every weird network state — you'll find it first.
What you'll do
- Design and automate test suites for mobile and backend
- Build end-to-end test harnesses against staging banking partners
- Own release sign-off — nothing ships without your nod
- Run chaos drills: drop the network mid-transfer, kill a process mid-webhook
What we're looking for
- 3+ years QA at a fintech or transactional product
- Strong on Playwright, Detox, Appium, or similar
- The mindset of "what if I do this twice fast"
- Bonus: you've written a fuzz test for a payment API
You'll decide what didii builds next — and why. You understand how Nigerians use money, and you'll turn that understanding into product decisions that millions of people feel.
What you'll do
- Own the product roadmap for didii's core money assistant experience
- Talk to real users weekly — understand their pain points, habits, and language
- Define specs, prioritize ruthlessly, and ship with engineering and design
- Analyze usage data to inform what to build, what to kill, and what to double down on
What we're looking for
- 3+ years in product management at a tech company (fintech or consumer preferred)
- Deep understanding of the Nigerian financial landscape — POS, transfers, mobile money
- You write clear specs, make decisions with incomplete data, and don't hide behind process
- Experience working with AI/ML products is a strong plus
You'll put didii in front of every Nigerian who's tired of money stress. From paid acquisition to organic growth — you'll own the full digital funnel.
What you'll do
- Plan and execute digital campaigns across Google, Meta, Twitter/X, and TikTok
- Own performance marketing — CAC, LTV, ROAS — and optimize relentlessly
- Build and manage email/SMS marketing flows (Brevo) for user acquisition and retention
- Collaborate with content and design to produce high-converting creative assets
What we're looking for
- 3+ years running digital marketing campaigns in Nigeria (fintech or consumer tech preferred)
- Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, and analytics platforms
- You think in funnels, not just impressions — every naira spent must be justified
- Strong copywriting instincts and a feel for what resonates with young Nigerians
You'll be didii's voice online. Twitter threads, Instagram stories, TikTok trends — you'll make didii the brand that young Nigerians actually want to follow.
What you'll do
- Own didii's presence on Twitter/X, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms
- Create daily content that's witty, relatable, and authentically Nigerian
- Build and engage a community of early adopters and brand advocates
- Monitor trends, respond to conversations in real-time, and turn moments into content
What we're looking for
- 3+ years managing social media for a brand (not just personal accounts)
- You understand Nigerian internet culture — the slang, the memes, the timing
- Portfolio of content that drove real engagement (not just vanity metrics)
- Comfortable with analytics — you know which posts convert and why
You'll design how people talk to their money. didii isn't a traditional app — it's a conversation. You'll shape the visual language, interaction patterns, and emotional experience of a new kind of financial product.
What you'll do
- Lead product design for didii's core conversational interface and payment flows
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready designs in Figma
- Define and evolve didii's design system — components, tokens, motion principles
- Run user research and usability testing with real Nigerian users
What we're looking for
- 3+ years in product design (fintech, consumer apps, or conversational interfaces)
- Strong Figma skills — you think in systems, not just screens
- Portfolio showing end-to-end product thinking, not just visual polish
- You've designed for emerging markets or understand the constraints (data costs, device range, accessibility)
You'll make didii move. Product animations, social media motion graphics, brand videos, and micro-interactions — everything that makes didii feel alive and distinctly didii.
What you'll do
- Create motion graphics for social media, ads, product demos, and brand campaigns
- Design micro-interactions and animations for the didii app (Lottie, CSS, Rive)
- Develop didii's motion language — how things enter, exit, transition, and celebrate
- Collaborate with marketing and product to bring static designs to life
What we're looking for
- 3+ years in motion design (After Effects, Cinema 4D, or similar)
- Experience creating animations for digital products (not just video)
- Strong sense of timing, easing, and storytelling through movement
- Bonus: experience with Lottie animations or Rive for interactive product animation
You'll tell didii's story through video. Short-form, long-form, ads, tutorials, behind-the-scenes — you'll create content that makes people stop scrolling and start paying attention.
What you'll do
- Shoot, edit, and produce video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, and ads
- Develop video concepts that explain didii's features in simple, compelling ways
- Create product walkthroughs, customer stories, and brand narrative pieces
- Stay ahead of video trends on Nigerian social media and adapt quickly
What we're looking for
- 3+ years creating video content professionally (agency, brand, or creator economy)
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut
- Strong storytelling instincts — you can make a 30-second video that people remember
- Understanding of what works on Nigerian social media — the humor, the pacing, the hooks
You'll turn data into decisions. From user behavior to transaction patterns to market opportunities — you'll surface the insights that shape didii's strategy and growth.
What you'll do
- Analyze user data, transaction flows, and market trends to inform product and business decisions
- Build dashboards and reports that the entire team relies on
- Model financial projections, unit economics, and growth scenarios
- Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and marketing to define KPIs and track progress
What we're looking for
- 3+ years in business analysis, data analysis, or strategy (fintech or tech preferred)
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets, SQL, and at least one visualization tool (Metabase, Looker, Tableau)
- You can translate messy data into clear narratives and actionable recommendations
- Understanding of Nigerian fintech landscape, regulatory environment, and consumer behavior
You'll keep didii on the right side of CBN, NDPR, NDIC, and every regulator that matters. Money business is regulator business — you'll own that conversation.
What you'll do
- Own the AML/KYC programme and monthly compliance reporting
- Liaise with CBN, NFIU, NDPR — you are our face to the regulators
- Review every new product for regulatory risk before launch
- Build internal training so engineering doesn't accidentally break a rule
What we're looking for
- 5+ years compliance or legal in Nigerian fintech, payments, or banking
- Deep knowledge of CBN guidelines (PSP, MMO, BVN consent, AML)
- LLB / BL preferred
- Calm voice in a room of regulators — the kind that closes audits
You'll be the human in the loop when the fraud model isn't sure. Every flagged transaction, every chargeback, every velocity spike — you'll close the case.
What you'll do
- Investigate flagged transactions and close cases with banking partners
- Tune fraud rules together with the AI/ML team
- Build playbooks for SIM-swap, account-takeover, and mule-account patterns
- Partner with customer support on victim-facing comms
What we're looking for
- 3+ years fraud or risk at a Nigerian bank or PSP
- Pattern-recognition brain — the kind that spots a ring before the loss
- Comfortable with SQL and dashboards
- You know what a "419" actually looks like in a transaction log
You'll own how it feels when something goes wrong. First responder, last hope, calm voice in the middle of a stuck transfer. Support at a money app is the product.
What you'll do
- Hire and lead a support team across WhatsApp, in-app chat, and social
- Design escalation paths to engineering for live incidents
- Own NPS and first-response SLAs — minutes, not hours
- Turn support tickets into product fixes by partnering with PM and engineering
What we're looking for
- 4+ years support or CX leadership at a consumer fintech
- Written like a real Nigerian, not like a corporate template
- Ops mindset — you build playbooks, not just answer tickets
- You've led a team through a real money-stuck incident and kept the trust
You'll close the deals that move our money. Banks, switches, billers, telcos — every rail didii rides on, you negotiated it.
What you'll do
- Own banking and payments partner relationships (Anchor and beyond)
- Negotiate fee structures and SLAs that make unit economics work
- Close new biller partnerships — PHCN, GOTV, telcos, and the rest
- Coordinate with finance on settlement and reconciliation
What we're looking for
- 5+ years payments or partnerships at a Nigerian PSP, bank, or fintech
- A rolodex of decision-makers across CBN-licensed institutions
- Comfortable in spreadsheets and boardrooms in equal measure
- You've turned a "no" into a signed BD agreement at least twice
